Wow, they're a blast from the past! I remember the Select and Face ones!

Twos a crowd was an interesting read, graeme holdaway remarking on Damon being suited best temperamentally to working in a band. I believe Damon has said as much himself, hasn't he? Which makes you wonder how the solo album will turn out. Thanks d4p!

Thanks, damon4president.

In hindsight, "Think Tank" had to happen at that moment in time, for everyone's progression afterwards. I can't imagine that would've been a convincing argument, then, but that's just how life goes. TT is definitely a reserved, self-examination kind of album. They were emotionally spent. The album plays like a therapeutic journey.

Much better, now.

It's fascinating in the march 96' issue of Q that they are working on Blur already. I wonder how the songs sounded at that very early stage.
NOT for the likes of you.

Thanks so much for these.
I'm struggling to get the eighth page of that last Q piece to go full size - is that just me?

some funny bits

select from 97 - graham talks about how everyone else hated Pavement
then damon talks like he LOVES Pavement

the bit in Q where damons like "i dont do drugs" haha
