Songs that have never been performed live

Postby Villa_Rosie » Tue Feb 28, 2012 2:41 pm

Yes I love lists and tallies.. 8)

Anyway, how many of Blur's songs have never been performed live? Album songs, not b-sides..

The only ones I know are Villa Rosie and Clover over Dover, but there are probably a few more?

Also, any unreleased tracks, and "Fool's Day" - i know them at least.

Jets was performed live. Met Dave at an Ailerons gig back in 2006 and I asked him about it. He said they performed it just the once.

Supposedly it was played only on the early spring 1993 tour. I'm currently awaiting a few tapes to see if this is the case...

It's in print and also on Kindle. I may make a PDF copy available once my new book comes out later in the year...thinking about it.

You should publish it on the iBook store for iPad users. Really easy to do. :)

Caramel and Jets...I've not only never heard anyone claim to have them on tape, I've never seen them HINTED at being played live. Star Shaped, while I'm a bit skeptical, there is at least a shred of evidence it night have been played live a handful of times.

And D4P, I'm only considering concert settings, not studio sessions :)
