Editing posts coming up as new posts

Postby AdvertBreak » Wed Nov 23, 2011 4:38 pm

It seems that, and i persume this is the same for other people, that whenever i edit a post because i've made a mistake - the edit comes up in a new post and the old mistake post is there and unable for deletion. However, it was not like this originally - as in before this month. Is there any way of reverting or what - i literally can't describe what one could do to fix it.

Isn't the same with me. You're probably hitting the wrong button.

Posting: You're doing it wrong.

Don't how what to suggest to help this. Not happening for anyone else, and I don't see how it could he happening. The only thing I can think of is maybe you're double clicking the 'submit' button after you edit?

When you post the same thing twice, how about deleting one of them?

Well, i have to delete the latest one because you can't delete any post that isn't the latest. And so the one i can't delete is the mistake one - so i would need to edit - therefore coming up in a new post, and the whole problem resets.
