Good evening Doves and Dovesses,
I hope you are all well!
I have been reading/lurking for a while and have introduced myself a while back but this is my first proper post here on the forum...
For those who were at the premiere last night, Steve Lamacq (who introduced 'NDLTR') brought a cassette from 1989 with Seymour demos of 'She's So High' and 'Fool' to show and tell.
Having the day off work I tuned into Lamacq on BBC 6Music this afternoon who announced that he will be playing an early Blur demo before the end of the show. Needless to say my Edirol R-09 was immediately wired-up to the Hi-Fi and I hit record. It was 'Fool' from the cassette!
I know digital radio is lossy but I recorded in WAV and then downsampled to a 320kbps MP3, and here it is:

My apologies if this is already circulating or has appeared on a B-side or bootleg, I thought I would share with you anyway - complete with Steve Lamacq's comments.

I was hoping he would but there was no mention of it unfortunately.
I've listened back to both the WAV and MP3 and 'Fool' sounds as if it was transferred/broadcast at a lower bitrate to everything else... |

| Perhaps it's more that it was a demo on a cassette than a problem with the broadcast. I really hope he plays She's So High. |
