got a refund from sandbag

Postby weliveinachemicalworld » Wed Aug 12, 2009 7:35 am

recommend others do the same.
I bought one CD, and one download only, for a total of 26.50.

The downloads were shite quality, and file was corrupted in one.
Yesterday's email was the final straw, I phoned up and got a full refund, and I still have the downloads saved (for what they are worth)

No reputable business should have to tell its customers that the CD's will be on their way to a warehouse soon, it's ridiculous.

Yep...good you got your refund. I'm gonna stick it out to the bitter end, but I don't have high hopes for the CDs...

I know a lot of people are pissed off with sandbag on here but I have dealt with them a lot of times with other bands and always foudn them to be fantastic. The sound quality/bit rate is not down to them and the cd delays are probably more down to emi or someone higher up.

That may be so, but they've been abysmal informing us customers of the delays...it's only been after we've all complained to them...

I can attest to this! I came away from that gig on such a high, it was genuinely incredible, largely down to the atmosphere of the crowd, so when I heard about the recordings I was really excited! I downloaded it a couple of days after the concert, and none of the atmosphere is there, and that's not just because it's a recording, 'cos the blur glastonbury '09 BOOTLEG captures it well enough!
