Anyway I can turn off signatures? I love this board, but gigantic sigs drive me crazy and make it plainly obvious I'm not working.

I'm afraid there isn't a way to turn them off. The problem is, there's no size limit to sigs.

^perhaps getting the admin to put some kind of size limit on would be a good idea. Just so we don't end up with stupidly huge ones?

I think that maybe no higher than, say, 300 pixels would be reasonable. Width wise I wouldn't say it matters if it doesn't stretch the tables.

Ok, as long as I'm alright. I noticed there's no restriction on avatar either when you link it off a different page. It has been such a temptation for me to get myself an insanely large avatar.

Alexander's sig is twice the size of the generally accepted signature size - 400 x 150. Nevertheless, we'll leave things as they are for now but I will bring up the point.

Aye, that's true. But making it TOO restricted may annoy those with nice signatures :lol:

I don't want to restrict anyone's signatures - I was just wondering if they could be turned off on indivdual profiles. If they can't, I'll live with it.

There used to be a guy on here called Imaginary Mr. Ninja (no idea if he's still around) who had an absolutely enormous signature.
