Ok, so there's an article in an Argentinian newspaper, an interview, and Damon says the following:

"Blur is over and I don't know if the Gorillaz project will continue [...]. I also have The Good, The Bad..., and I'm attracted to other people's productions and take care of my world music label Honest John's".

Mmm... I don't know what to think about it

I won't lie, I'm extremely sad about this. I always kept a little hope that they would get back into the studio but Damon just crushed everything.

Don't let it bring you down too bad... it's really no more crushed that it was before. I mean, Damon had already said that another Blur record wouldn't happen for a long, long time anyway. Plus keep in mind he tends to say totally thoughtless, moronic things impulsively.

That said, I've been resigned to them being "over" for the time being for a good while. His forthrightness this time is actually refreshing.

I'm only disappointed he hadn't said it earlier so people wouldn't get into a frenzy over the will they/won't they saga. Still it's out there now.
