Yeah but they stuck to a set of around 35 songs and played 25ish songs out of those each night providing a bit of variety but you would never hear 2 completely different sets

Yeah and in the end I felt ripped off paying €46 for them and got little or no crowd interaction whereas the Neubauten gig had everything and was 40 minutes longer all for €25 cheaper

of course TT was a disappointment.. for 9 years, blur had kept making albums that were better than the previous one (with the exception of Great Escape, which was only equal to Parklife), but TT was not as good as(or especially not better than) 13

Oh, I don't think it was that bad... I think it could be better than 13 in some respects... I just have to think about what they are  ... ok so I'm being optomistic here... I just think it's a different album, that takes a special person to love it instantly :?

Why did you decide you needed to reply to the thread entitled 'For those who don't like Think Tank', then?

I wasn't looking forward to it, simply because of the Graham thing. I had this horrible idea it would sound like Gorillaz and Mali Music.
And I still managed to be disappointed as it was worse than I imagined. First listen through I was... shocked at how little I liked it. Then angry that I'd spent money on it. Still the biggest musical disappointment ever.

Bands like Pearl Jam (who have roughly the same amount of material) can do two shows with completley different material in each, shame Blur didn't do that, would've been more special

Yeah! Blur don't play all their previous hits like Stereotypes, Country House, Charmless Man, M.O.R., On Your Own... Wtf!

or worse, they don't play a lot of their great non-hits, like ..er...All your life and Strange news from another star

well, Think Tank is not my fav album, I listen to it especially when I'm depressed...so very often, songs like Gene by gene make me happy, some songs like Sweet song make me sad  ...maybe that's why its a great album, it suits all your mood
