I used to not like that one too. But once I listened to it separated from the rest of the album, I discovered it an undeniable charm, specially the "So breathe on, sister, breathe on" bit

^I LOVE me, white noise (damon's version that is. The other one is pretty bad)

I have a new one,

Portishead - deep water

it's not a BAD song on it's own (not brilliant by any means, but it isn't exactly awful), but it just doesnt fit with the rest of the album AT ALL. It's completey different in almost every respect, which is why i skip it when i'm listening to the album (like now)

Yeah, makes it rubbish. Not that there was much hope for it in the first place. Me, White Noise is up there with Crazy Beat on my list of least favourite Blur songs.

Me, White Noise is raw and it thrashes about and surprises you. I think it's great.

In fact, it doesn't fit in Portishead's entire discography. I mean... an ukelele?

She's So High is great, the guitar solo in the middle especially.

and white light? you have to love it although most of it is whispering.

I love Kate Nash' Made of Bricks, but I noticed the last couple of times I kept skipping Dickhead.
