Parklife winning, obvious, but regardless.
I voted 13 but i can never pick out of that or MLIR.

I've just seen that poll again and its a huge shocker. Did anyone see the final results? Blur and Think Tank win almost equally. 13 is halfway behind and the others were really minor, they look like just a 5th each of Think Tank's bar. Infact, despite my predictions, Parklife was the penultimate loser.

That's only cos I clicked on Blur and Think Tank a few hundred times - no one realised you were allowed to vote more than once

Don't know if it counts but MTV Classic were doing a run down of the 'Class of... 05', just singles from 2005 and that. But they played Clint Eastwood! Looool

OMFG I was watching Dynamo: Magician Impossible and he went to meet Damon Albarn in a studio to show him some magic! Stop The Dams and Shytown were played in the background.

This evening I was at a H&M store and suddenly they played The Puritan! I was so surprised I started prancing and singing along right there XD My friend looked at me like  but she doesn't understand. Nobody understands!

Not sure it's been posted somewhere and I don't think it deserves a full thread so I suppose it is the best place to post it, there is a page long blur article in Time Out this week (unfortunately I don't have a scanner) It is called "To the end of the line": "With one of London's most iconic bands set to play for possibly the last time, Oliver Keens plots Blur's history through some of the tube stations they've known, lived near or passed out in."

Nothing new, the tube stations the article is about are Liverpool Street, New Cross Gate, Camden Town, Mile End, Tottenham Court Road, Ladbroke Grove, Marble Arch.

I walked into an upscale department store (Nordstrom's) to return some clothes right as the guitar solo from Coffee and TV was playing. Considering that I live in Redneck country, USA, where Top 40, post-grunge, and radio rap are dominant, I was pleasantly surprised by hearing Blur.

true story, happened a few months ago:

I was sitting in health class, wearing my Blur shirt, waiting for the incredibly hot teacher to come. When she did, she noticed my shirt. She said, "Wait, let me see that. Blur? Don't they have that song, uh, -" I was expecting her to say Song 2. "Coffee and TV?" I stopped. What? I felt so happy then…and obviously it never happened again. But it was a good feeling, and not just because she was hot (which she was).

that almost reminds me of the time i was was watching a video in PSHE class...about 15 years ago, which had some spotty teen talking about sex or wet dreams or whatever wearing a Parklife Tshirt. I had to wear a uniform and could only wear my Blur Tshirt on mufti day
