I dont think it will be cancelled, although a work colleague told me that she heard on BBC Radio 2's maconie show, the blur management were considering cancelling the gig due to the credit crunch.

I think thats bullshit though. Its too far down the line now to back out.

What a catastrophe if they backed out now...especially with all of the goodwill generated...

And about the credit crunch, so what? People will save their money and instead of taking a holiday they'll go to Hyde Park!

i dont blame you dparrot. ive been let down by blur in the past. wasnt there an ep out at the end of 03 and the 10 year parklife boxset? but this time its official with posters and everything

I would not disagree, if this hadn't been made such a big deal out of already. I mean, the Fan Club gig was still a fairly secret one, not one all around the media. So, no..they're not backing out of this one. IF there is anything after this, is another question though. But to be fair, they're not really talking about that either..

Well maybe your Mummy and Daddy shouldn't let you on the computer if you can't understand the meaning of words with more than five letters, but we seem to have plenty of younger members around here who do understand, so I'd advise you to stop trying to be a smartarse and think before you post.
