Dont think it's said just how great Phi Daniels was in Hyde Park. He really got into it, both Graham and Damon looked happy about that. I love the way he said his line abou the franking machine from Quadrophenia.

No comment (anyone who's read my book knows how I feel about Daniel's place in Blur's history) 8)

Although I do have to say he was *ok* at Glasto and Hyde Park in 2009

^I don't like him. On the studio version of Parklife he was fine...live he makes me cringe, too much "oi!" and he sounds like he's always drunk and just shouts out the words instead of narrating them. He was a bit more restrained in 2009 and I didn't mind him, but I've never enjoyed a live Daniels appearance...more like endured/tolerated (and I've listened to bloody enough of them, for sure!)

Interesting Fact: Quadrophenia, in an indirect way, is what got me into Blur. Thank you Phil! 8)

My friends I was disappointed spectator at the Hidepark. I saw the man enter the scenic performance area that was not a member of Blur so my first thought, naturally, was ... guitar tech? But, This man began to speak. I pinched the man next to me and said, sir, who is it? The man turned to me and smiled. This is Phil Daniels. I did all excited but unfortunately there was no tricks. He just yelled songs park life. :?

But I love him and Debbi McGee. They are great.

Everyone has an opinion. What's yours worth in ten years time?
